Some people are too stupid to live. and bases on how skuffed up the bumper of her car was this lady was one of them.
The accident happened this morning at approximately 11:45 AM (no later than Noon) in the parking lot of Kroger’s. I had pulled to the side of the parking lot for a moment in a clear area well away from any other cars. We had been stopped for approximately 2 minutes when a white Isuzu Rodeo began pulling out of an adjacent parking space. The car did not turn her vehicle as expected but simply kept backing straight out. Once we (Mamajo and I) realized that she was not going to turn or stop I began honking. She was about 4 feet from my car at this time. She continued to back towards me until she connected. We felt she was going at higher speeds than was appropriate for this maneuver in a parking lot. I thought she was going to drive away and honked several more times. She finally backed into the area in front of me and got out of the car. I also got out of my car to examine the damage. As before… Photos are available. On the Drivers side corner the bumper is scuffed and the plastic of the bumper frame is popped out from under the edge of the headlight. She tried to say it looked normal and I showed her the other headlight area so she could see the difference. I asked for her insurance information and she said it didn’t look bad and that we didn’t need to file a claim. She tried to get me to follow her to her mechanic so he could fix it. She never apologized for causing an accident and kept trying to avoid giving me her information. I was finally able to get her information. I thought Mamjo was gonna take her down when she kept trying to put me off. She only had a photocopy of her Texas Drivers license but I recorded the info from that and her insurance card. Luckily there was a witness. Mamajo spoke to a young lady who was in her car at the time and witnessed the entire event. She gave us her name and cell phone number. When I would not follow her to the mechanic the lady seemed to become aggravated and drove away. She parked at the gas pumps a little ways over and then came back. She said she had called the police in to the scene. We said that was fine and that she was at fault. She finally decided to leave without waiting after she got my insurance information. Duh lady... YOU are at fault. It's not a problem for me if the cops come!
